Spotlight on Taylor Susan

As a freshmen at the University of Arizona, Taylor Susan has found the importance of getting involved.  Membership in the American Indian Science and Engineering Society (AISES) club, has afforded Susan the honor of being selected to receive a travel scholarship to attend their annual conference.

Faculty Spotlight on Dr. Noah Fay

When Dr. Noah Fay steps onto the Centennial Hall stage, he addresses the 800 students in his Geological Perspectives class as he would the students in any other course. He explains from his experience that large numbers don’t impact the strategies he and his teaching partner, Dr. Jessica Kapp, utilize once the class size is beyond a certain capacity.

Pizza with a Professional: Helping Students Prepare for Life after College

The Center for Exploratory Students in the Colleges of Letters, Arts, and Science (CES/CLAS) sponsors a number of programs each year to assist students exploring their major and career options. Part of our mission involves helping students select appropriate majors and prepare for careers that match their interests, academic strengths, and personal and professional values.
